What color! These bright, shiny, clumps of happiness are the works of artist Guillermo Mora. This Madrid based sculptor creates these amazing installations....which are made up of up to hundreds of kilos of straight acrylic paint wrapped with rubber bands! Mora must be pretty inventive to create such absolutely stunning sculptures with just two simple materials. His creativity is apparent not only in these amazing pieces, but in his other sculptures as well. He has a whole plethora of equally colorful installations that he has created throughout the years.
How can anyone not be drawn to these bright and oozing folds? My love for Clause Oldenburg's soft sculptures make me love Mora's sculptures even more. Oldenburg created soft sculptures in the early 1960's of many different objects such as a toilet, a hamburger, and an ice cream cone shown below.

There is something about Oldenburg's soft, seemingly melting sculptures that remind me of Mora's droopy, colorful creations. Make sure to check out this artist's website to see more incredible work!
