Jordan Clark is an amazing and successful artist based out of Upland, California. He creates these interesting, scramble-faced collages out of vintage photos. The photographs he uses range from glamorous portraits of beach babes to somewhat creepy-faced children. (The collage of the two boys is actually called Demon Children). All his creations have one thing in common...they distort the face. The face, which is usually the point of recognition, is now a beautiful kaleidoscope of facial parts. How surreal!
Clark has been in many publications, including this great book called The Age of Collage. You can check out more of his work at CES Contemporary's website, which is a gallery in L.A. that represents Clark. If you are in the area, I definitely suggest checking out CES Contemporary. They represent some great artists and I know I will be visiting next time I'm in L.A.!
